The song writing workshop at The Congregational Hall Lounge on September 27th 2025 was a great success.

Local songwriters Bethia Mitchell and Ele Shepherd delivered a fascinating insight into the process of starting and developing a song.
The attendees worked together to shape an original song called ‘Breaking News’ using words and themes chosen by the group.
It was an immensely enjoyable and informative session and the attendees were unanimous in their praise of Bethia and Ele. In fact the consensus was that the session could easily be a full day event, and everyone was keen to see further sessions.
