Several of our group are telling stories and the Dolce Sisters are singing at Harborough Culture Cafe on Wednesday, 24th June 2024.

Diana Bretherick ran another successful Creative Writing Workshop at the end of April. Feedback suggested it was a highly enjoyable experience as well as an informative one. ‘Wonderful day’

Creative Harborough launch event on the 2nd March was a huge success with over twenty organisations showcasing what they have to offer both as a participant or member of the audience

We had several people sign up to become involved with storytelling for children, telling stories their for the Conversation Series and the Creative Writing Course.

HFP and ChairArt also had a great day with lots of people interested in becoming involved.

Partnership Working

We are delighted to be working with Home-Start South Leicestershire to allow us to share stories with some of their groups. Our aim is to be able to offer regular sessions for children and their main care givers in 2024.

Working with other Arts and Cultural Organisations

There is a growing interest throughout the town for groups to work together to try and secure a building able to be used by groups who contribute to the cultural life of the town.

While working towards having a dedicated building we will be involved in events designed to show case the wide ranging cultural offerings currently available. Watch this space for the Autumn festival.

Creative Writing Course

Feedback would suggest Diana Bretherick ran a very successful Creative Writing Course (Oct-Dec. 2023). The hope is she will be able to repeat the course late Spring at a time convenient for people who work during the day.

The storytelling at The Cherry Tree has been suspended for a bit – keep an eye on the website to see when this is reinstated.
